Comments about Malem Wireless Bedwetting Alarm System:
I bought this alarm for my almost-six year old son. He had been dry only a handful of times in his life, and was getting frustrated after seeing his younger brother start being dry at night.
I was skeptical about using an alarm, since he is a very deep sleeper and I often have trouble waking him. He had no trouble hearing or responding to this alarm.
My son is a tummy-sleeper, so he didn't like wearing the box on the front of his waistband. The cord is long enough for him to attach the sensor to the front, yet wear the box on the back of his waistband.
It is very sensitive. A number of times, the alarm went off after he used the bathroom and if he was sweaty (being a tummy sleeper).
I wish I would have found this sooner. :) He was dry the first night! He had a few wet nights in the first week, but he heard the alarm and got up right away. By the end of the week, he was dry. By two weeks, I took it off.
He is in a better mood, and his self esteem has risen as well. I am proud of him, and he is proud of himself.

This product is worth every penny. My 8 year old who had never had a dry night in his life is now, after 2 months, waking up on his own and dry.
I was skeptical but at my wits end so I took the plunge. It took a couple, and I really mean only 2 nights to get him awake without our help up. We gradually just supervised. I believe that really helped in the success of the training. He was also very motivated! So, the alarm sounds with a small amount of urine, you still need to change underwear but not all the bedding. I suggest the matress pad too. If the sensor gets soaked, and it will at first, it will continue to sound. You have to kind of gently shake it dry or use a towel. If the connection is wet the slightest bit it will continue. When it's really early in the AM it can be frustrating, but stick with it.
He now insists he doesn't need the alarm and we will go with that until we have a set back.
