The mesh Cap is easily replaced, at mor than half the total cost of the entire device. I find that condensation build-up will clog the mesh if not immediately wiped off. It would be great if they could develop a sturdier mesh, as I have to replace mine about every 6 months.

Only down side to this part is that even the slightest damage to the mesh and the system doesn't work. ALWAYS have a replacement on hand. I think the price is a bit much.

The Micro-Air NE-U22V uses this to create the SVN mist. Can't use the nebulizer without it so I bought this a backup. Its pricey but you need it.

Use the NE-U22V about 4 to 5 times a day. It does the job, but replacement parts are too expensive.

The vibrating mesh cap is part of the Omron handheld nebulizer. It nebulizes all of your medication leaving very little waste. With a new mesh cap, 3ml of Duoneb can be nebulized in about 8 minutes.
Contrary to instuctions, I've been rinsing my mesh cap with hot tap water and I can testify distilled water is a better idea. After only a month my treatment has gone from 8 to about 12 minutes because of using tap water to clean it.
Expect to replace the cap twice a year. Even under the best of circumstances the micro-holes in the mesh get clogged after a while and treatments can take up to 20 minutes. If you buy two of these a year, you should be ok.

the metal mesh part fell out while cleaning and i didn't notice. had it for only 3 months and i used it infrequently.

the cost to replace the entire mesh cap is unnecessary if this were made correctly. the fact that when you remove the silicone insert, you cannot put it back and continue use is costly since the rest of the parts are sturdy. Would prefer this portion were the only piece to replace. A less soft material that could SNAP BACK IN like all the other parts.

Worked great at first. 3ml nebulizing time increased from 8 min to about 15 min over two weeks while following all cleaning and sterilizing proceedures.

it works great just think it was a bit expensive and had to replace within one year, the mesh top not the whole device. I hope I dont have to replace the mesh that often!
